CONGRATS DUDE!!! Not much waiting left. Be sure to inspect trans thoroughly BEFORE signing for your vehicle.
Ruthless,

Tell me how you will "Inspect" your tranny, and what you will do if it fails "Inspection"....

I have never seen anyone on this board so outwardly eagerly waiting for their vehicle as you.

Are you going to let the car sit at the dealership overnight, then come in and start it yourself, put it in R, back up about 50 ft., put it in D, and see if it slips? It may not slip which doesn't mean it won't in the future. Remember most (if not all) of us didn't witness the problem until weeks or months after taking delivery.......Am I making you nervous?[rofl] [fake]

Damn, a week [confused] why so long? When did your boat actually dock (date)[???1] I hope my salesperson isn't lying, he told me it should be there by Friday or Saturday if it wasn't damaged in transit.

I just read where all the BMWs were damaged in transit on that boat.

Check this link: http://www.ruflessfillycantwaitanotherminute.com

It was some kind of freak accident where the boat rammed a dock by accident. Are you sure yours was on that boat?[rofl] [rofl]

boat was supposed to be on the 11th according to the salesman, but didn't dock until the 13th. i don't know if he's putting me on with the dates. bmw website still shows it at processing center, but it got to the dealership this AM (Wed.) how did you know the name of the boat your car was on?

mine must have been on the Takasago that got in on the 13th. found that by searching for port arrivals. but wanted to check the cargo link - and my production # doesn't work. so what else should I have been looking at?

and does it really matter now? I'm on the way to the bank to pick up my certified checks. can't wait to drop off the old 325 and pick up the new 330. actually I have a silly little story about my 325. do you believe your car can think or has feelings??? well I might! last week I got in the car to go to the bank and get the title so I could trade it in. for the first time ever, the 325 would not start. I think it knew I was going to get the title to get rid of it I think it got very very mad and said - no luck girlie - you're not going anywhere! ok so $300 repair later....I'm being very kind to it so it makes it to the tradein on Saturday. lol.

Get your vin number from the owners circle, then look under Auto via Cargo tracking @ the W&W website
