taylorautomotive.com?

Hey guys,

I am wondering if any of you have bought parts from taylorautomotive.com. I'm going to replace the fan clutch and thermostat this coming weekend in my 325, and they are significantly cheaper price wise than many other parts vendors that I have found (plus they are pretty close to me, so I can get the parts via UPS ground in one day). Just wondering if they are a good, legitimate vendor before I plunk down $100 on parts. For instance, they list that they have 671 fan clutches in stock. Somehow, I find that hard to believe. Has anyone had any problems with them? I need the parts by Friday, so I don't want to mess with a vendor who is going to dilly-dally around with shipping the parts.

Thanks!

Justin

I found this site a long time ago www.pelicanparts.com I have never ordered from them but I looked at the price of a wheel bearing at taylorautomotive.com ($50+) and at pelicanparts.com ($30+). They are located in CA and I don't know if they ship fast or are reliable but the prices are pretty good, or maybe it's just that one part. Anyone had any experiece with them?

Pelican has a good website and also a bulletin board forum for enthusiasts much like this one. Jared at Pelican is the E30 "advisor". I have not bought from them but they seem to have a good following judging from the comments I've read.
