Look at this: tell me they dont look like they were made for this damn car

These are style 124 BMW rims for the 5 series...

I would love to be able to somehow put them on

their specs are not that far off
but im not that knowledgable in the rim area....

they are 18x8 and 18x9

They show up with an offset of 20mm for the 8s and 32mm for the 9s

but they have a 120mm 5 bolt pattern....

whats the deal, why cant i slap em on somehow...

seems like people are slaming 19x9.5 and 19x9

slap me in face and tell me already, I cant...LOL or enlighten me with a possibility

PS (Ive searched for other rims that look like this, but there is absolutelly nothing like them...7 spokers with those curves are non existent)

Hmmmm

elaborate....your saying the reason why they say its not for this car, is because it throws off the speedometer????

cant i theoretically have that readjusted?

and who would I speak too that yuou think can assist, I emailed both companys that have the rims and neither suggewsted anything, they just imediatelly turned me away

enlighten me [pray]

You didn't give me the full specs of the wheel. Like what are the height of the sidewalls.

An E46 3 series can have up to 19 inch tires stock from the factory (19s may require fender rolling). But, I dunno if the sidewall heights are the same as a 5 series from where those tires came from. If they're not the same, the diameter of the overall tire is different and that can throw off the speedometer.

Go to tirerack.com or just yahoo "plus sizing" for tires.

Basically, if the rim companies don't wanna help, ask your local AAA office. I know they offer periodic inspections and can adjust your speedo.
