I have 2000 323ci coupe.
I had minor accident and since then I hear this ennoying beeps. I think it's the outside temperature sensor. First of all, where is the temp sensor? and how much does it cost to replace that? and how difficult is it?
I appreciate your advise.

When's the beep occur? It beeps when it hits 37 degrees. If you happen to be driving when the temp fluctuates up and down around 37 degrees (like what happened to me on a drive up to SF), it'll beep constantly and drive you mad.

Temperature Sensor

The sensor is located in the plastic piece under the car between the bumper and the left front wheel well. The sensor itself is cheap ($10 range). It sounds like yours may have been knocked loose, and there is a bad connection to it. I had a similar problem when I hit a concrete parking strip that was to high to clear.

concrete parking strips suck arse!!!! I was at a parking deck, and the entrance is a ramp going up and turning.. They used the concrete strip to guide you, well.. at the end. they added 1 additional strip, and I didn't see it. the strip hit the right side skirt of the car, scraping the jack mounts, scraping the underside of the side skirt, and popping the side skirt out a bit. .I was able to bang it back in to place, but there's a tell tale scratch on teh side... ARRRGGHH!!!
