Just came back from the dealership!
Ordered a 330 ci Silver gray with the M performance package and premium package.

Got to wait til end of June though.......its goin to be a long two months. [bash]

I test drove the regular 330 c and the 330 c with the performance package and the extra 10 hp did feel faster, and the roar of the engine jsut a little throatier........not sure if its jsut my imagination or not but oh well [hihi]

The only thing i didnt really want was the steering wheel with the alcarite( i know its not spelt like this), i would have prefered the leather but they told me that it was not possible to change.
Oh well i jsut thats jsut somehting i have to comprimise with.

In the meantime i m trying to figure out the whole ipod situation, i have read lots of the threads and maybe too many cause i m getting confused........what do i have to get for it to be hooked up with my car? and does it still run off the ipod batteries?
thanks guys for all your help so far \!!!!

I just made the same choice. After test driving 3 different Performance Package 330s and a sport package 330 (and having driven 3 series cars before) - it was a clear choice - not only was there a bit more oomph - (and it seemed more noticibly torquier then more HP) but the handling and cornering were tighter and this is what sold me. Plus the look was very nice! Anyway I just ordered mine/ours today - for European delivery mind July - awaiting confirmation of the date. I'd have been interested in the M (well who wouldn't! - love that car!) ..but my wife already complains that the ride in our Audi is too harsh - (which is lowered & stiffened a bit...on 19" wheels)..and the sedan also made more sense....I must say the performance and comfort/amenities of the ZHP seem a nice balance. Wife was satisfied (and she liked that it had less thrust then the Audi - which scares her sometimes/often...but certainly it has plently of get up & go)....On one test drive I took out the traction control and did some 90 degree corners very fast and loved the stability and ability to correct - very forgiving and predictable. Also was impressed with the cars ability to handle well in heavy rain (I was worried about this)...again not the Audi in this respect - but not at all twitchy or slippy....can't wait for 3 weeks in Europe this July...Munich & the Alps here we come!

Wow. Congrats...that sounds like an awesome ride.

I'm not aware of a seperate iPod connection. They offer an "auxillary audio in" connection in the trunk. You can see an authoritative write-up in the accessories section of the BMW site. It is simply that...an audio in. Not a recharger kit. Maybe there is something else I have missed. You need to pay the dealer to intall the aux audio in...and different threads have suggested dealers are charging a big difference in labor to do this. Hopefully you're dealer will be a reasonable one.
