The best mod for better performance besides a cold air intake

I am looking for a quick mod that would give me a little extra boost for my 2001 330i. I already installed a cold air intake, any other suggestions for increased performance.

Go to Tutner Motorsports website and order Shark Injector. No boost in HP, but the drive-by-wire lag is eliminated and the redline is raised a bit.

On the 330's, unless you invest bigger $$, don't expect more power out of the engine. It's already very optimized, including the free-flowing exhaust.

Some say axle ratio change, but BMW 3's have very low 1st gears in trannies, I personally dont like the feel of having to shift so soon in 1st.

Forced induction...but then a Warranty void.

Yeah, you guys got hit the most! [:0] We had pretty bad icing on Monday-Tuesday of last week, but that was it. Still 69 accidents in one day in our little town.... Even one of my BMW (E36) friends spun off and got T-boned by a Subaru - my friend's fault.

We were not really preppared for such weather. I could't even drive ut from the lot on the bolding S-03's. [rofl] It was sideways right away. So I drove my Civic instead. Fun to drift with the parking brake on. [thumb]

And the sand is the killer for sure. I don't even dare drive u on the freeway. The trucks just have a "shhoting range" there with the rear tires.[?|] My other friend got hit in the windshield and received an dime-sized chip yesterday... Hopefully we won't have something like that too soon again....[:D]
