actually, anyone with that color could just look at the color code and tell him.
OR equate, you can just look it up yourself in the net. im sure the colors for the e30 are posted on the net somewhere. i know people around here have the original brochure.

My '89 325i is 'cirrus blau metallic' - this is sort of a dark (bluish) silver.
Could this be the color you are talking about??

I believe the color you are referring to is Delphin Grey Metallic. I had that color on my '85 E30. It was a very common and popular color for several years on all series (3,5 &7).
