Will 205/65 15 tires fit on my 318Is?

I currently have 205/60 15 on the stock rims? I can get 4 brand new tires of this size for free...I hope they fit! Any one know?

Thanks, Sean

www.1010tires.com has a calculator to determine this.

I ran it for you, they warn that you should not exceed a 3% diameter change from stock, or risk braking problems. In this case, you are just over at 3.18% . Also, note the speedo error.

The key here is that the 65s are larger diameter than the 60s. If they are worn a bit, you would actually be under 3%. Ehh, I'd probably put 'em on if they are free... it's close enough....

Someone gave them to my brother; they're actually the recommend size for his original wheels; he already has 17' rims and a spare set of 16's for winter driving. He asked me if they fit on my car, otherwise he's going to sell them... I told him wait...lol. Couldn't pass up free tires. Should I ask him to wear them down on his car a bit before putting them on mine? How many miles should they have on them to loose that .18%?

They're Dunlop All-Season; exactly which tire I don't know.

Thanks Kirby!!
