I bought my 330ci with upgraded tire & wheel package - 235/35/19 f, 265/30/19r. How does this affect my speed (i know the weight should have something to do with it etc.)? Does anyone have the formula for every 1 step up above stock tires/wheels - how it will affect the speed? That would be cool to know!

Big Daddy, are you sure about that?

Changing the diameter of the wheels will change both the
speedometer readout, and the drive ratio.

Smaller diameter: more torque, less top-end speed, speedo reads high.

Larger diameter: less torque, more top-end speed, speedo reads low.

If you do it right, the overall diameter doesn't change.
When you do a Plus 1, you make up for it with a lower profile. Sized correctly, the speedometer should not be affected.

Same goes for minus sizing for snow tires.

the term "Plus Sizing" takes into account sizes and maintains the overall diameter of the tire/wheel as Andre states! If your talking just taking any old larger rim size and slapping on some tires, yes you will have error.
