Get a set of sport springs and shocks. Do NOT cut your stock springs.
can't really do that in the rear anyways, so that's not really a problem

my '87 eta has alot of roll in it as well... i'm currently on stock suspension like you, but i'm thinking about going to H&R Sport springs w/ bilstein sports or koni adjustables.... or maybe jump to the Ireland Engineering race springs (they're H&R Race copies, but like 1/2 the price... but they're pretty stiff & low)

and here's what i mean when i say my eta has alot of roll in it [ ;)] (they're big pics, i'll just link to em)

I went with H&R OE Sport springs, lowered the car about an inch. Then used Bilstein HDs all around. Installed Eibach sway bars and topped it off with an Eibach strut brace and offset control arm bushings and 325 ic rear shock mounts. This resulted in a firm but still comfortable ride with little to no lean in corners no matter what the speed. This spring/shock setup increased the negative camber slightly but not to the extent of needing camber plates. This slight increase is desireable and has not resulted in extra tire wear. DO NOT CUT BMW SPRINGS!
