Torque curve

Anyone know where I can find the torque curve for the 325i (and 330i for comparative purposes)? I want to see if it spikes at a certain RPM or whether it's relatively flat across a wide band. This will help me know how to drive the car better. Thanks!

I was really looking for the curve with torque represented on the vertical axis and RPM (0-6500) on the horizontal axis. My understanding is that the Bimmers have a wide power band, as opposed to a narrow one that peaks at one point and is a lot less everywhere else. I'd like to see if for myself. I can do the math to go between torque and horsepower myself.

You are looking for a dyno chart. I don't know where to find one, but I will do some searching for you. BMW's I6 engines are known for have a nice, strong, flat torque curve throughout a lot of the rev band.

Try any Dinan web site, they should show you the before and after power band with torque numbers. I think you can find what your looking for there. You'll have to do a little digging but the data is available.

Thanks lpquick!

For those interested, the site revealed that torque is maxed and relatively flat, with slight dip ~ 4500, between 3500-5000 RPM (this confirms what my driving has told me). Also, in order to get your horses running, the car has to be moving fast and the tach high(peaks at 6000), as their is a linear progression.
