I live in Europe and have a year 2000 model 318 with automatic transmission. Yesterday, my transmission light went on and I noticed a problem with the transmission. When I braked, the transmission did not shift smoothly and the car jerked. Can someone tells me what the problem could be? It is very hard to find a good and trustworthly mechanic here. I want to have some idea of what I am facing before I take my car to a garage. Thanks.
