Two Questions

When you first get your new car, is the paint still weak? Meaning, is it easier for rocks to nick the car in the beginning? I have tons of nicks already and I only had the car for two weeks. I waxed it and doing so showed all the imperfections in the front.

Second question: I think BMW forgot to install the black rim around my headlights.

Does anyone with the 2003 330i Performance package have the black rim?? I know I don't and that's supposed to come with the PP. If everyone else does, i'm bringing my car back to the dealer.

I think when you take delivery of a new car, it's pre-waxed with some type of protective coating. I think small debris or small pebbles should have very little to no impact on the paint. Unless you're taking about big pebbles and rocks. Then in that case, I don't think there's any difference whether you have a new or used car. Both will have 'nicks' on them.
