finally installed Umnitza Predator Chromium OEM 3k DDEs
after 2 broken tabs on the driver side reflector, and another broken tab while putting the clear housing back in, it's finally (almost) done. (it turns out i need to move the driver side high beam ring as it was seated funny after 2-tab-less reflector messed with it.. [?|] ... story of my life [:p]

well the pic doesn't look as pink as i saw this afternoon. but you can get the hint.
i'm going to take a night pic and post that up later.
i was all hyped after the install till i looked at it.
i was hoping for an amber hue, not pinkish hue.. [?|]
may be it'll turn OEM-ish after the burn in? ^^; hopefully???

what do you think?
edit added:
pink xenon? ugh

and here's the x5 comparison shot (well this did come out brighter.. like 6k)

try my best not to look like rice, only to end up looking flaming rice.. excellent!! [:(]

thanks.. but if it looks pink, does it really matter how clean the install looks? ^^;
damn it, i might have to call them to see if i can get a different color..
it was soooo annyoing trying to get the housing off then back on off and such. am i going to have to do it again?
its almost embarassing esp compared to the real OEMs on the x5 pictured on the edit..

Well mate I guess if you're not happy with them you should probably change them. I know about the clips, broke one of mine as well, bloody pain in the butt. I don't think it looks rice though, the fact that no E46 came standard with angel eyes means that any addition will be unique anyway. Seemingly a more OEM look will blend in, but did you get them to blend in? - Deep, I know.

Anyway, they don't look too bad, maybe they'll grow on you.
