Can anyone please tell me the characteristics of a vehicle after it's been lowered? Apart from increased handling, I am looking more towards the characteristics of the car when it goes over bumps. I have had my car lowered on AC Schnitzer springs and I noticed that the car seems to make soft thudding noices and I seem to feel the bumps through the steering wheel alot more. Is this normal

Yes, that's totally normal. Lower, stiffer springs increase handling by tightening the suspension to the road and reducing the cushioning of the body. Tight and less cushy = more road feel and noise.

[thumb] I have to agree with Kirby, I just got a new Eibach Pro-System Kit. My bimmer already has a Sport Package therefore adding a new suspension system lowered it about another inch and a quarter. I have to take speed bumps with extra caution and I can feel more of the road in my car than ever before... I fell more apart of the car or more in tune to my ride, if that means anything. Happy Motoring...
