hi all...just received a hand-me-down from my sister...2001 325i...not a bad hand-me-down if you ask me...anyways...i need some tips from you experts...

1- i think the outside color is metallic gray (don't know if there's a more specific color)...should i get the clear euro corners, sides, and rears? and if so...where's the best (cheapest) place to get them?

2- i was also thinking of getting the shadow grille and making the emblems black and white...i'm pretty sure you guys have seen your shares of bimmers but i haven't seen one yet in my color with these first two body enhancements...any advice?

3- was gonna get the k&n air filter to start upgrading my car but i figured i should ask people first...some people say the allowance for more air also allows more dirt to get inside...so now i'm not so sure...

4- i'm not a racer but i like driving fast and taking corners fast...so i was thinking of getting a front strut bar...will it really make a difference? or is it not worth the money...any recommendations?

5- i've already cleaned up the interior using meguiar's products...but my sister has kids and they've done some damage....any advice on removing show scuff marks from the back of the seats?...also any advice on removing a very small, very faint, but very bothersome crayon/marker line on the interior roof?

if anyone could answer any of these i'd be grateful...i've already done my share of searching the web and whatnot...just wanna hear some opinons...also any other useful tips or advice you guys wanna share is greatly appreciated

The front strut bar wont make as much difference than if you install improved anti-roll bars. From what I know, the E46's frame is pretty strong and struts braces are more cosmetic than functional. I myself am interested in the H&R bars 'cause they come with teflon/urathane bushings that dont need lubing, ever. The diameter of the bars are the same as Eibach(27mmF/21mmR), but smaller rear bar than Racing Dynamics, UUC and others out there. I know there are better kits than H&R, but I like the maitenance-free idea.
An intake kit is also a good idea, but again you will see minimal HP gains. BMW engines are already tuned pretty good leaving little room for enhancement. I personally will get one simply 'cause it will enable the engine to be more efficient and give smoother flow of power. I havent decided in which one yet but after my suspension upgrade, I will start shopping. Although, some people have given positive reviews with just switching the filter to a K&N. Hope this helps. HH
