Ventilation Fan Clogged

The ventilation fan stopped blowing. When I first noticed it, driving on the freeway would free it up again.

Its getting to be a bigger problem now that winter's coming, is this something I can fix by myself? Has anyone else had a simliar problem? How much will I have to take apart to get in there?

I recommend getting your blower motor resistor checked. If not, it may be your climate control panel is on the fritz.

The mechanic said the blower motor needed to be replaced. Does that make sense?

He replaced the blower (damn expensive!) and it works now.
