VPC in Jersey is like Area 51
I got my salesperson in trouble today[fake] I tracked down the direct number to the VPC @ the Jersey NEAT center and gave them a call . Boy was that a set up, I felt like Nino Brown(Wesley Snipes) after Pookie(Chris Rock) set him up in 'New Jack City'. I first asked the lady for information about about my car. Basically I was trying to find out if my car was damaged in transit or not. She took down all my information and then proceeded to ask me how I got this number and that I'n not supposed to be calling there (very rude) . I explained to her that I found the number after doing some research on the web and that I was just curious about my car. Even after explaining my situation she was still so rude so I hung up on her. A few hours later I get a call, I looked at the caller ID on my cell and it reads "BMW" (yes I have the number programmed in my phone ) So my first thought is my car arrived Wrong!... It turns out to be the Manager of my dealership asking about the call I had placed to the BMW VPC[???1] He was very nice and just asked me the details of the incident. He asked me did I get the number from my Sales person. I explained to him that I got it off the internet using the lincoln tunnel website He was very friendly and we resolved the issue rather quickly, he even asked waht I was driving in the interm and offered I BMW loaner until my car gets in. The VPC was upset because they thought that my dealship was not keeping me well informed and thats the reason I made the call. This was so untrue and my Sales person is the best. I would not have gone back to buy a second car from him if he wasn't. I just a very curious and anxious at this point.
