I don't know what I would have done in his shoes. There must be some sort of legal/civil action as an option, not to mention a call to the local newspaper/TV.

I think he should have had his buddy lawyer step it up a notch, a case in court is worth 10 internet msg boards and 5 newspaper sections!

Amazing that this dealership treated him in that manner, has anyone else ever had issues of any sort at their dealer? I don't think this would be limited to BMW's, but I'd like to know all the shops ratings with their customers (Especially anyone in the Atlanta area!)

Wow, that's absolutely horrible. You drop your car off for service and it gets all trucked up because of some stupid dooshbag. I bet that is the most frustrating thing ever.

i defintiely agree that this should be brought to the attention of the local media. can you imagine the amount of business that they would lose??? easily millions!!!!! does anyone know if this was indeed reported to the local tv news?

I'd like to send Mr. Savage a compiled printout of all the forums this has been seen in, what everyone has to say, and the # of times it's been viewed across the major BMW boards. And a copy to BMW NA! I'll ride the $ to send him a nice fat manilla envelope so he can see how many people won't do business with him again over that.

Seriously thats a messed up story. We really should rally all the bmw owners to write complaint letters to Savage and let him know clearly that what he did was unacceptable and that he definitley lost business from all of us loyal potential future buyers.

Kumafa thanks - I shoulda thought of the obvious and looked for his dealership online. I'm gonna capture BMWBoard, and bimmerfest's threads and ship them to him and BMWNA. the ole LJ4 is gonna get a workout tonite!
