warning triangle and first-aid kit?

My owner's manual says that there is suppose to be a warning triangle and First-aid kit but I did not receive one with my new car. Were these part of some optional package (i.e. cold weather)? I only got the Premium and Sport packages....

I believe the US vehicles never received this option. However you can order them at a CAN dealership.

yup, the US vehiciles don't get them...i didn't get them with my '04 330i.

My car came with the first aid kit............located under the front passenger seat, I guess they figured I would need it......

My car came with both, oh yeah, I did ED. In Munich, they told me that the warning triangle is not DOT approved in the US and if I did not take it home myself, they would pull it before shipping the car to the US.

Check back with your sales rep. or the dealer in general.
