Hey Rich, when you going to post some pics of the G35. I would love to see some photos. You lovin it?....
I'm going to have to break down and buy a digital camera. In the mean time MrElussive and I have nearly identical cars. He posted a picture of his car in the G35/A4/ 330 thread. About the only differance I can see is that his brake callipers appear to be gold and mine are silver. He has the Brembo brakes and the callipers are typically red. Looks like MrElussive has done some customization.
I've owned my G35C for two months and it is without question the best value in semi-luxury performance cars. It has decent acceleration, great braking, close ratio six speed gear box, and it has a sporty exhaust sound. The nice thing about the exhaust sound is that it's sporty but not obtrusive. In order to hear it, you have to have a window or sunroof open, otherwise it's barely audible. Also, gas mileage isn't bad. I've been averaging around 23 mpg with mostly country driving on a new engine. After the engine gets around 10 - 15K miles, I expect gas mileage to improve to around 26-27mpg.
Another nice feature is that it doesn't have the dam shark fin. Man I hate those roof warts. I came real close to buying an S4 but I couldn't get use to the fin.
After discounts you can buy a fully equipped G35 Coupe without nav for $34K or about the same price as a well equipped 325. Time will tell but my expectation is that in three years I'll be able to easily sell my G35 for around $25K, which works out to around $3K per year or $250 a month.
