Water Pump/Clutch Fan

Trying to get the clutch fan off my water pump, but I'm not having any luck.

Anyone have any tips on how to do this?

Yea use the BMW tool. You do know it is reverse threaded, right?

Doing my pump too....what is reverse thread ???

You tighten it to the left, loosen it to the right. Bentley manual points it out.
