i saw a 330ci with the letters "WG" on the back. I've noticed this on some 7 series bmws too. what does this mean? anyone?

i've seen a bunch of different models here in the philadelphia area with "WG" to the left of the license plate. it's the same chrome style of the model number like "330ci, etc". I googled it and could not find anything. ill take a picture and post i guess.

I just looked it up and I think it is the area of vehicle registration- Wangen Baden-Württemberg.

Is there a dealership with those letters? It sounds like it could be a marketing scheme. Here Motor Werks dealership places a symbol with the letters MW on the back of vehicles they sell.

Oh...I figured it out......"WG" means.......Wallet Gone......arrr! Really I do not know, but my guess is a European designation like previoously mentioned [fake]

That's the first thing I do with any car I buy. I have nice silver frames for my plates (rear only in FL). I HATE dealer advert frames.

wg = west german bmw. thats the same lettering. i guess i never figured a dealership could do that. it really looks like part of the car. thanks! i thought there was some super secret option i was missing out on.

i wonder if u can get like some letterings like custom made which are the same style as the chrome style they use to display the series number...anyone know a place?
