what do i use to clean leatherette???

hi i just got my bmw with leatherette but already its getting dirty...what do i use to clean it with? thanx alot

If it's really filthy, I would start with a solution of 25% Simple Green and 75% water, mix it in a spray bottle, spray down a towel and start wiping. Finish with another towel dampened with water only. For the crevices, I also use a soft toothbrush wet with the Simple Green/water solution.

If it's not too dirty, 303 Aerospace protectant is great for vinyl and does clean somewhat.

Good advice. I got the leatherette. Its good to know these things. Now only if I could drive my car. I would be happy.

And speciialk, yes, I guess you could use leather cleaner, BUT it will probably leave your vinyl greasy and could end up cracking it over a period of time.
