Hi All,

I'm new to this forum. I'm looking to replace my 2000 328i. Loved it, still do. But love the E90 even more. When I bought mine in 2000, bimmers were very scarce at least in N. Cal. and anything under MSRP was something to celebrate. But I believe that is changed. Although I don't think there are any $500 over invoice deals either now. But I really don't know.

Of course, there are regional diffs. But still would like to know what to expect generally when I go into negotiate. If you can, please respond with the deal you got on a recent sale. I'm looking very seriously at a sport, auto, premium pkg. 330i.

TIA!

Got my 330 xi loaded, except for automatic, for $1800 under sticker, and I don't claim to be the worlds greatest negotiator. I stuck with my local dealer for personal/convenience reasons. You would probably do better if you're willing to get different bids and buy for price rather than location.

The thing to do is, join the army, come to germany, buy it here tax free and with a fat military discount. When I add it up on the BMW website what I have in it. I saved 4730 dollars. So go ARMY!!!! [headbang] [cheers]

ok. I'll answer my own post. I picked it up last night. And like Dr. Hand I went with my local dealer (about a mile away). So probably not the best deal in the world @ $2100 under list. An ok deal I believe here in Nth Cal.

Love it; a fully loaded (premium, sport, auto, nav) 330i. And I got the new metallic deep green color with beige interior. I really like the color with the sport wheels. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Hi folks. I left the Mercedes fold and bought my 1st BMW last Sunday a Sparkling Graphite 330i loaded.
Deal was $500 over dealer invoice and more than $3,000 off. This was in Nor Cal.

No pics yet because I ordered a car to be built. Car will be delivered in July. It is wife's new car.
Sparkling Graphite, black dakota leather, burl wood, premium pkg, Nav, heated seats, comfort access, park distance control, auto (she can't drive stick) rear window sun shades, Satellite prep.
I have a Vin # and can follow it through production.
I passed on active steering and really agonized over Sport Pkg. It looks so good but lowers the car about an inch which could be a problem with my sloped driveway and the roads really suck where I live (potholes and manhole covers).
The car is plenty fast for my wife. It will beat my 97 Boxster 0-60 (7.4 vs. 6.1) and the brakes are much better. She will have a blast in it.
