What mods do you got ? any wish list ?

aloha guys , I was wondering what mods you like or what are you thinking of getting ?

I just ordered K&N OEM replacement and the 3 in. chrome exhaust tips ..It was one of those nights on the computer where i had to buy something for my recently aquired 02 325Ci ..

Do most guys leave their bimmer stock ? or wait for the warranty to expire before doing mods?

I would like to ideas and suggestions for making a E46 a sweeter ride..mahalo

Hi! I've recently got my car so no mods yet either (except for taking off the airbag stickers on the visor!). I was looking into the K&N filter also. Does anyone know if it would void the warrenty if you placed that filter in?

My first mod, (if you can call it that), was to hardwire my V1 radar detector. Next was painted reflectors, threw on some sheepskins, then I moved up to some 19" rims.

I'll probably get some SilverVision turn signals as the next step. But as soon as I can swing the $$, I'll be getting some Ground Control suspension stuff!

I always wondered why people put seat covers over leather seats . I think they have to breath[???1]

If you get the OEM replacement filter from K&N you're ok. and if you get nervous taking it in to your dealer just switch out to the original one before you go in for service..It doesn't void the warranty but a cold air intake system would ..

1. To help protect the leather.
2. Comfort, they're awesome in any climate, yes even in hot climates they're great.

my wish list is the wood trim piece for the steering wheel......I could use a built in radar detector......other than that, my car is fast enough (ask HPD) and loud enough for ME!!!!!!!

My 04 has been in for warranty work 4 times (not proud of it) and I have a cold air intake and my dealer(s) have never said anything about it....

Unless the modification(s) is proved to have caused the problem with the car, your warranty is just fine and dandy.

I've done some 'fun' stuff but no performance mods. That stuff will wait until post-warranty.

Hamann aluminum pedals
'M' aluminumn dead pedal
debadge
18" wheels for summer driving
'M' illuminated shift knob
Placed black vinyl tape (Bavauto.com) to cover white wedges on propeller blades
sheepskin seat covers (yes--I love them)
Chrome Exhaust tail pipes

I'm thinking of putting the 'M' lip spoiler on this Spring. I think it's a nice, subtle enhancement.

Whatever you decide, have fun. Oh, and it's not about 'ricing' your car out; it's about being unique. Bimmers are a dime a dozen. Have fun being different.

What happened to your headlight? The clear looks good but the head light looks so ... dark?
