What my final drive ratio?
I have a 1988 318i(A) UK model 2 door.

Does anyone know my final drive/ differential ratio.

I need to get a 2nd hand final drive/ differential as mine has some backlash during accelaration/sudden stopping.

probably 410 open. I would just crawl under there and look. It should have a tag hanging from one of the bolt heads that holds the back cover on.

As long as you are there get an LSD unit, it would have an "S" on the tag.
