What Performance Upgrades can be done for the 330?

I considering getting a 2001 330 and was wondering what performance upgrades
can be done to increase horsepower and how much more HP and Torque can be
gotten from the upgrades.

Someone told me you can increase HP from 225 to 265. Is that true? Thanks for
the info!

You can get 401hp at the wheels out of the 330 with a Turbo kit. [fake] Depends how much you want to spend and how much work you want to have done to your car.

But you won't get 265 with the basic mods (intake, exhaust, chip), no matter what they say - don't buy the hype. M54 engines are not budget tuner-friendly.

The most you can hope to get is 10-15hp with either or all three above listed mods on a good cold day. And be weary of the manufacturers' dyno charts, as most are not accurately taken.
