Yesterday I was doing a "battery maintenance", and took the battery and the plastic stand that it stands on out to clean there and do some anti-corrotive procedures on my baby's battery bay , and I found a white plastic box with a long piece of rubber tubbing on it, the box was plugged into hole in the car's bottom. I was wondering what is this box for and where should this tube go? I supposed that it's for draining any water that's gonna get into there, but why they need such a long piece of tube??
Any explanations???[???1]

For factory batteries, there is a small vent opening to expel the gases caused when the battery charges. This tube and small "box" was to connect to that opening. It routes the caustic gases outside of the battery compartment.

But the tube was really small in the diameter, and the box was plugged into hole and also had a very small hall on it, so to me it was more designed to take out some liquids than gas. The loose end of the tube was just sittign in there, and I didn't find anywhere where u can plug it in.
I thought that the black thing on the side wall is used for ventilating the trunk from the battery fumes...

Not sure what you mean by "hall". But it's for the gases. The connection was at the top of the battery, chambered where only the gases would be.

Rule #1. In my english hall== hole [8)] Srry...

There is a hole in the car's body underneath the plastic sheet on which the battery is sitting. That hole is not open, but plugged with the bump on that box(there is a rubber seal from beneath the car which keeps it on place ). Apparently box is sitting in the right place since the bump has the right diameter, u cannot see it until take the battery and the plastic sheet out.

the vent on the side is to pressure can be vented for closing the hood and doors and is a drain for the sunroof.

The thing you are talking about is for battery gasses. So thye dont buld up and corrode or cause possible explosion.
