Wheel Upgrade for 3 series

I am hoping to upgrade my rims on my 00 328Ci, I am considering 18" and staggered size between fount and rear. Has anyone done this and how did it turn out.

I love the staggered look and also have that on mine. Unless you go much wider than stock, it should turn about the same, the reason why you do this is so you can get better grip in the back wheels.

Lots of BMWs come standard with different size (width) front and rear wheels.

You can look up the stock 18" Ci wheel and tire sizes on the BMWUSA web site. I am sure going with that configuration would work fine.

I do think though that BMW tunes their suspensions to match the stock wheel and tire sizes and performance, so I wonder if all the Ci suspensions are tuned the same even tho they offer different wheels and tires as options? For example, is a 330Ci w/18" style 71's tuned the same as a 330Ci w/17" style 68M's???

i didn´t give it a "on the fence" as it is a problem and it might be not. you can´t switch wheels after a season from back to front. other than that, it is fine.
