Will a 1989 325is Differential bolt up to replace the differential in a 1984 318i?

well u prolly dont want to use a 325 diff in a 318, as the gear ratio woudl cause really crappy acceleration as the 318 r usually geared really low. to accomadate the lower torque and hp

Rukus, i have a 318is 4:11 LSD diff for sale next week if you're interested. I think around 200 plus shipping and it's yours.

my 318i is an 84. It has the 3.65:1 gear ratio in the back. i lucked out and got an older model that didn't have the 3.9:1 ratio *sarcasm* lol

so anything sould be fine, i really don't care since it is a daily driver and, i'd rather not spend alot on this car because its not really that great of a car. (condition wise) i love my BMW, and BMW's, don't get me wrong
