windshield washer jets

I'm new to the board and I have a question already. Has anyone here ever installed windshield washer jets (fluid squirters?) on an e30? This is the situation, my two jets (monted on my hood) are 20 yrs old and two outlets are rused one has something stuck in it and the only one that is %100 open doenst point where I need it. I have contacted a BMW dealer and ordered two more OEM washer jets. The only problem is I have no clue how to install them. I need to get the old ones off and the new ones on without killing my car. Any tips? THANKS GUYS.

I can't help you with the install or removal but I can help with pointing either the old one or the new one. Get something like a straightened paper clip but a lot thinner, so it would go inside the small hole and be loose in it. Put it just a little bit of it into the small hole and point that where ever you want to water to go. It's pretty easy, first you swuirt water on the windshield and see where it goes, then adjust left, right, up or down one direction at a time. Squirt again and adjust some more, when you get the perfect position, youre done.

I got a pair of new nozzles, then the special "tee" busted. So i picked up a new one, now I can't find a washer hose that is plyable and small enough to fit.
Anyway, to get the nozzles out , twist and lift. Twist the nozzle about 45 degrees, then the "tabs" should line up and "pop" right out.
Installation is jus the opposite.

i had the same problem.. my right hand side nozzle went out so i got a new one and a new distributor ( the plastic t shaped object ) i have the fire proofing material on my hood so u just gotta use a torx screwdriver or an allen key to get that off and thn just pop out the nozzle and the the distributor .. pretty simple.. if the hose is messed up its better off u get one from the dealer its like 10 -15 $ not too bad
