my MF'en 330i drifts to the right!
The dealer has alighned it twice and swears that it is dead on, tires and wheels are balanced and good, nothing is bent, etc.... they say they test drove it and it was fine, they did 2 lignments in 2 months, charge dme both times $120, still has a slight drift to the right, and it is not the road surface. I know their machine is not calibrated corectly, but they swear it is.
Anyhow, it is going back for a third time this weekend, we'll see what they come up with.

I may just punch the jerk off service adviser in the mouth!!!

I'd take it elsewhere then if you're sure it's them. Then if it is (And is fine after being aligned elsewhere) take your 2 previous bills to them and demand recompensation.

Dont they have warranty for their work? Can't believe they charged you twice. I would call BMWNA and complain about this.

Dude... I feel ya, I got me alignment at Mr Tire because my BMW place does not have the equipment to balance and align 18" wheels. I paid $65.00 for my alignment and balance after an altercation with a man-eatting pothole. I had to replace the rim which cracked and tire. Might want to consider a second opinion from an outside the circle company. Happy Motoring...

The car may drift to the right on perfectly flat road surfaces because of the tires. Your tires are just grabbing other tracks on the road, and so the car drifts to follow the track. I used to think my car's alignment was off, but I took it to the dealership and they said it's perfectly fine. I am still fighting the wheel sometimes (even on perfectly flat surfaces), but it's because the Pilot Sport's are just grabbing some tracks on the road and trying to follow them, being super sticky summer tires and all. I think it's called the "tramline effect"?

MrEllussive,

I agree.. when I first got my camaro (a while ago) I thought the same thing but the issue was the size of the tires (245's) grab more of the road and you drift sometimes.... perfectly normal.

just talked to the service manager

He was very nice, it is the service advisor is is a jerk off.

Anyhow, he agreed to re-imburse my the $110 for the second alignment.
They will rebalnce all 4 tires, and re-align again then go for drive with me before it is released.

Not sure if I made my self clear before, I took it in for the first service, it drove staight and smooth before that no complaints fro me. They recomended a rotation, balance, and alignment. I said OK, then it was after that when the problems started.

Anyhow, I'll let you all know what they find, taking it next week.

Oh, you left out some very important information... I have a similar problem everytime I get my tires rotated with the car initially not driving straight, however I discovered that when they rotate my tires they neglect to check and re-adjust my tire pressure. I run factory spec tire pressure front (30) and rear (36) like, therefore the rotation places my tires out of sync and I end up stopping at the first service station to add pressure to some and take pressure away from others. I do not know why it's so bloody difficult to check the tire pressure after rotation and adjust it but if never gets done. I rotate tires every 6,500 with oil changes. Happy Motoring.

Just something else to give some thought to...most roads lean to the right. They are built that way for water to drain off away from the center. Be sure you're testing your alignment on a truly flat road (but I think that's going to be hard to find).

I have had this problem before and once the alignment gets messed up it seems very hard to fix it for good. I am of the opinion if its not broken don't touch it. I just go 4 new tires and the dealer tried to sell the alignment. I turned it down because it was fine with the old tires so it should fine with the news ones!
