Xenon light acting weird

For the last 4 months the bulb out warning light appears on my dash. I checked front headlight and found out that the driver side Xenon light is not working. The first time this happened to me, I ignored the problem since I don't have time to figure out what's going and because of work. After About 5minutes while I was on my way to work, I noticed that the warning light disappeared, I pulled over and checked the front and the Xenon light is working. This does not happen all the time probably once every 2 weeks. I was gonna bring it to BMW to have them look at them but not really sure what to show them since it does not have any pattern when it happens. The only thing I did around the Xenon light was added a Angel light and the wiring was professionally done by a car electrician/mechanic. Not really sure if it's related to that since I had that installed last August and the problem did not start happening not until the end of January. Anybody knows what's going on here.

sounds like a bad connection. Although sometimes the wires fry themselves - so take it in and they should fix it under warranty. Also the computer logs the light coming on and off - so they'll be able to verify that for you.

Same issue with my left headlight on my car. Intermittent. Brought it in a year ago for the problem, they said it was a loose connection. A Xenon works by passing a high voltage through the gas in the "bulb". If that voltage can't get high enough (thousands of volts), the gas will not ignite, thus the bulb never lights.

It started happening to me again, so when I take it in for its next service I will mention it to them again.
