The answer is 'NO'. The annual oil change is your right to get that for your car. The dealer will never send you a reminder/offering/notice, or whatever you want to call it. They will try to cut their loss as much as they can. Their moto is 'if you snooze, you loose'.
I always have to ask for annual oil change. The dealer will check your car history to make sure it has been more than a year since your last oil change.
Thanks. That's what I figured. And since my dealer is in the process of relocating to a huge new facility I don't really expect too much communication.
Anyhow, I already did an oil change after the first 5,000 miles, and she runs like a clock.
Time to hit the bar for the last Yankee/Sox game for '04. Should be wild.
i would smack my self if i waited over a year to change the oil and i would also do an oil change in between each 15000 mile service if you own the car but dont reset the counter
no reminder here, i had my car for lil over 13 months now, and i'm taking it in for one year serv next monday. (she only has 7500 or so miles..) i really should be driving more often, but i walk to work, and my tires hate cold weather..
