Help with Parking sensor's, electric window

I have just got myself a bargin deal on a 1995 316i silver compact, the only thing is, is that the parking sensors dont seem to work and was wondering if anyone knew how i could fix this problem myself and also the drivers side window doesnt seem to work, fuse is ok as the motor is working, it seems to me like the window isnt been gripped propperly... any help would be fantastic.

sounds like the regulator has broken away from the rails on the window, which means that either the regualator is worn or the plastic ball retainers have broke normally if the ball clips have broken there is a reason, either you need a regulator or the window channel guide.
