Oil Change

Have a 3 Series, 2001 model and it has around 70,000 miles on it, I have always taken it to the dealer for Oil service, thought will take it to a local mechanic like Tires plus or Vavoline suggestions of what Oil is to recommended. Thanks much for your suggestions. (unauthorized URL's removed)

I use Mobil One and change it myself, always have. I do most of my own work, if I need a mechanic I use as local European Specialty shop.

I did not want to venture doing it of my own at least for now. Can you provide any information if there is a mechanic who can help me with changing Mobil oil. As I will look into my local yellow pages for a local European car clinic. well I think you had mentioned in ur earlier post for a Mobil 1 5W-30??

i do my own with mobil1 10W-30 but i think that as far as car work goes you cant get much easier then an oil change. as far as the service you'll get from any garage on an oil change i think they'll all be just about the same and your biggest concern is price
