Hey howcome the airbags were so loud? I thought those super loud airbags were a thing of the past. My friend once got into an accident with his former RX300 and the driver and front passenger airbags deployed and he said it wasn't loud at all. In my accident, my side curtain airbag and side impact airbag both deployed. They made an audible "pop" but nothing even close to make my ears ring....the sound of the impact was louder than the airbags.
i'm really glad everyone involved in the mess are ok. the ex-s did their job and may they rip, or haunt your friend by coming back to life w/ 20k+ in repairs and weeks, if not months in the shop..
i wonder if it's a bit different just because his ears were right next to it as the bag deployed. (he did hit his head against it right?) emile, you were on the other side of it, so maybe that could be the difference.
i would go out to check on my car to see where the hps is.. aren't they on the windshileld pillar or something? but i just got back from playing ball for the first time in ages, and if i move either one of my legs a wrong way, i get a horrid cramp all over..![[mad]](/images/smilies/mad.png "Mad [mad]")
so i'll just keep my self parked right here, and check it out later ^^;;
