I took my 325cic in to have the speaker changed, they gave me a TSX as a loaner. I've owned a 03 325i before, I gotta admit I fell in love with that Acura. Now overall the 325 has a heavier and more refined feel but for the money the TSX is the better deal. Technology wise and interior is better, comes fully loaded for like 26k. Plus I got a lot of compliments on it, didn't expect to on a car I never even knew existed. Awaiting on a great deal to get one as my second car.

To me, I would consider the safety issue as well. I had couple car accident with my Civic few month ago. After that, I start lean to cars with a stronger body. So, I helped my mom to get a Volvo S40 to replace her Corolla, and I bought myself a E46 to replace my Civic. After all, I love the driving experience with my bimmer. Love the rigid and secured feeling of being in it. On another hand, the low cost of maintenance and "care free" of Japanese cars are also something that I would love to have. But, as I always say, "there is no needle that is sharp on both ends".) Just my two cents...

I really like the tsx and if it were between that and a 325i I would probably go for the acura. but i was looking at the 330i vs. the tl, and even the much vaunted g35. To me, there was no comparison. The torque, stability, and yes that most subjective of categories i.e. "feel" were all in the beamers favor.

Thanks for all of your thoughts. A couple of days ago, I test drove the 325i and TSX on the same day for the 3rd time. My friends drive the G35 and 325/330. I sometimes wonder if I'll miss the V6 of I6, but then I drive the TSX and I feel that's plenty of power.

The only problem is the color. You can't get a while exterior and black leather combo in the TSX.

Question: I've alays had white paint cars and I really like them. They are easy to clean, stay clean and doesn't seem to fade.

Silver seems a bit stark to me and I often ask why silver is so popular.

So counting out white and silver, I don't want to get black... I don't need my car to look clean all the time, so I don't care if black get's dirty easily. Any black BMW owners can tell me about pros and cons of black? I suppose living in LA with a black car there are the obvious heat issues...

Swirls!! Plus if it isn't clean, it just doesn't drive right. If you got a garage to put it in and don't have to park it outside then thats a big plus. Just saw a black TSX at Ihop last night and it was sharp. A black car was always meant to stay clean especially a nice one. Black is my only choice no matter because once you arrive on the scene in a black ride it's like no other. One word: Sinister.
