There seems to be a lot of negative thoughts about the 325 as compared to the 330. ANy owners of 325's out there that love their car. My 04 325I is on order but after reading many of these points Im starting to regret it.

Someone care to reinforce my purchase
IMO,

You are normal, I purchased a 330 then felt it was an M3 I was after. Luckily I didnt have to break a lease & then just made the switch. If you feel you will be unhappy now is the time to decide.

Good Luck !

I was going to buy the 325, But I just had to drive the 330. The 325 had plenty of power, But the 330 had much more. They are both very nice cars, and you would not go wrong with either. If you are trying to save money, then the 325 is the logical choice, That doesn't mean it's a bad one. If you buy the 325 and decide later that you need/want more power, there are plenty on mod's that can be done. Good Luck with you decision.

I love my 325. It has plenty of power to move through traffic. The purr of the Straight 6 is what puts a smile on my face every morning on my commute to work. Who need a premium stereo when you have the synchronized firing of 6 cylinders? What is the use of a bigger engine if you can not take corners any faster? If you are looking to street race then the M3 is the car for you (if you have the extra 25 grand) :)

I absolutely agree !! There is no wrong choice here, and all of the 3-series cars IMO are absolutely beautiful and fun driving cars.

i also recently bought a used 2001 325Ci, SP, step. sometimes i wish for more HP but for the price, i am just glad i made my choice.

plus for $6400 you could get a AA or ASA SC and still have some mola left for clears, and H&R cup kit. if you are power hunger

I knew I wanted a drop-top and originally went in looking at 325Cic, but got sucked into the 330Cic and never looked back. It's loaded with more standard equipment, and the performance / handling was noticeably better than the 325. The 330Cic sports package includes a better wheel/tire combo --- with wider wheels at the rear. The 330 is just sportier than the more pedestrian 325. Of course, I'm talking rag-tops here, so maybe things are different on the more rigid coupes and sedans.

But, hey, a BMW regardless of model, is guaranteed to have a more sporty dynamic than, say, a Toyota. That thought alone renders the 325 / 330 argument moot. We're BMW owners for one reason -- the drive.
