330CI and 330CIC to get Performance Package Option

I think you'll be alright, paddy. Here in Northern NJ/NYC, everybody likes to get all the hottest cars around here and they make the cars played-out quicker than you can say "BMW". I see so many New Range Rovers running around, it is as common as seeing a Grand Cherokee. Anyways, my point is that I RARELY see a 330i Performance Package...I have seen them only two or three times, total and hopefully it will stay that way.

When I purchased my '03 325i (Gray Green Metallic) last March a coworker of mine was picking
up a Silver Honda Accord. I drove him to the Honda dealer and when we drove up to the showroom, in my 325i, there were 8-10 Honda 'sales vultures' gathered & waiting for their new car prey.

I deliberately pulled in and parked right in front of the group.

Before we hit the showroom doors the salesmen were all over that Bimmer like a cheap suit,
which is what they were all wearing anyway...

I thought to myself, this is what owning a BMW is all about.

So when I showed my friend this thread ~ what do you think he's doing right now???

He's putting a 'for sale' classified add together for the Honda and wants to purchase a new
330Ci ZHP...

It's o.k., Bryan330i... I'll talk him into the 'Mystic Blue' & not the Imola Red.

The new Honda Accord is a nice car, though. The 240hp V6 model with 6-speed manual is damn quick.
I'm afraid not as quick as a ZHP though. My '00 328i could keep up (barely) with the Accord. The ZHP will have no problem leaving the Accord in its dust. The Accord's handling is nothing like a BMW either, so once you're no longer going in a straight line, there is no debate.

but you gotta think there is a $10k+ us diff btw the accord 6 and the zhp..

anyway i'm not a big fan of hte new ci front, and while the m grill makes it better, 03 coupe front /w the m grill (basically the m front) looks much better imo. why else wouldn't the 04 m3 not follow the coupe redesign?

i was a bit disappointed when i first heard about it.. (my zhp isn't special anymore..) [:(] but now i'm cool about it. let more peeps get the zhp ci and cic and lay off on picking up a zhp sedan [:p] i already saw 2 others on the road (both imola), and i dun wanna see anymore..

[rofl]

ok...ok...ok...I was just saying that I hope not everyone gets the Imola red.....just like I hope not everyone gets the ZHP...just look at this board, I think ALL the ZHP's are Imola red.

And its ok now anyway, I have had mine almost 6 months now [fake] [;)] [rofl]

There were a few other 'Imola' ZHP owners on this forum that we haven't heard from in a

while. I can't remember their names, but they posted pic's of their ZHP's back around Aug.

when I first came on board.

I guess their too busy [driving2] . Nothing wrong with that...[thumb]

The picture of the black coupe is from the BMW site:

http://www.bmw.com/generic/com/en/products/automobiles/showroom/3series/coupe/index.html

The picture of the silver coupe is from the BMW UK site:

http://www.bmw.co.uk/apm/new_bmw/mi...__bs-Mw%3D%3D%2Bbb-Q1A%3D%2Bis-sport,00.html#

The "performance package" apparently is available overseas as the "M sports package II" and is in the pdf catalogue (European) at:

http://www.bmw.com/generic/com/en/p...upe/download/_pdf/3series_coupe_catalogue.pdf

The US 04 330CI/Performance PKG is not suppose to be in production until March 04 ... showing up at US BMW dealers in April 04. So, the pictures are not of a US 04 330CI/Performance package, but is along these lines.

none in stock and i needed a car. i didnt want to order one either since it would have taken a couple of months according to the dealer. i dont mind the black though, just a pain to clean up nicely. plus it isnt as visible to cops and what not, every car down here is black. also back to the alcantara subject, the steering wheel is wearing down a little. vlad, if your reading this, how do you clean the stuff and keep it in good condition?

I am having the same wear problem with the steering wheel, not sure what to do. I think I will just replace it every year or so, not sure what else to do.

I actaully order mine a little while ago to be #1 on the list for April delivery. I ordered the 330CI convertible with the Performance Package.
luvdatbimmer,

How much did the performance package option cost? I can't find anywhere
on the net that has the expected cost for that option. Also, are all the colors
that is available for the 330cic available with the performance package option?

Thanks,

My salesman isn't exactly sure what the options and price will be. But he said that is will most likely come with leather interior. He also said that he heard from BMW that there will be a SMG available with ZHP. I'm pretty much just gambling on this ZHP package. But I can always get my deposit back or switch the deposit to the convertible without ZHP package.
