Blizzaks are the best snow tire out there. But they wear out very very quickly...and what makes them the "stickiest" snow tires is that they use a special compound...unfortunately, that compound is only there for 55% of the tread life. After 55% of the tread is gone, they aren't so amazing anymore. Your best bet for snow tires are the Arctic Alpins or Pirelli WinterSport 210's...they are great in the snow (not as amazing as Blizzak's but still great), and they offer sufficient dry and wet handling performance.
