here is a stupid question................do I need two set's of angle eyes?
sure, give you a reason to buy another BMW to install the 2nd set in. [:)]

I doubt you'll have to worry too much about heat with the Vizu lights. The only time I ever heard an incident of bulbs melting the housing were the Bimmian interior xenon (blue coated halogen) lights but even that is supposedly fixed now.

I wish I can get another for the second set :), already fighting off the urge to trade mine int for the new model :)

check out the statement below:

'Plus the Wheelpower Phosphyre Halos, they are the best and brightest on the market.'

Is the above statement true?

I have no idea if that's true, but pictures seem to suggest it. eBay kits are crap. The Phosphyre ones do seem the brightest, but that's in pictures. Haven't had a chance to compare all the different manufacturers back to back in the flesh. It's a safe bet though.

I don't know if I posted this question here or not, but here I go, my car has chips thru the clear coat and some small chips where rust seems to be forming, what do I need to do before it requires me to cough up some major cash?

here is a question I really need an answer for, I replaced my current air filter with a K&N, I'm confused on wheather I installed it correctly, the filter sit high in the box closer to the opening for the air sensor, where the old filter sat to the bottom of the box, which is the correct way? It seems to sit correctly right now, where it's outer rim in sitting securely on the inner edge of where I put the top part of the whole encasing.

Welcome to the board!!

You can try touch up paint as an alternative to having the entire body panel repainted. If they're really small, just keep a good coat of wax on the car at all times.

I think Halo eyes are a cheezzzzyyyy non-performance mod. They'll be hooked up to your accessories light unless you install a separate switch so they stay on after the car goes off and have other weird ways of coming on and off, for some reason (something to do with being tied to the engine fan during warm temperatures). Perhaps they've figured out how to integrate them into the light switch...who knows, they keep coming out with the latest and greatest versions, making the buyers of last years models feel like suckers. They've got all sorts of Gerry rigged ways to apply duck tape and all to the back so they don't light up so bright that they drown the entire assemblies in light. I just think they are ridiculous. Pay close attention to the posts on easily broken clips, and the halo falling off and resting inside the assembly while you're driving, causing shorts, overheating the surrounding plastic, etc. Those problems are always described away as bad installs or blah blah blah. People on E46"rice"fanatics.com will also occasionally write in about how they can't seem to drive long enough to keep their batteries charged up. Or you'll see some posts about dead batteries.

I also have another question, currently my day time and high beams are the yellow light, can I change them to HID lights with a simple bulb change or is it a major rework of the light system. Is it simpler to just put in blue lights, with the same type of bulbs?
You need a totally different system to get HIDs. You'll need ellipsoidal lamps that are designed for HID light output, ballasts, HID bulbs (which are designed completely different since they don't have a filament), and all the wiring. Goto www.hidforum.com, the guys in there are true HID gurus. They'll be able to help you out w/ your retro fitting needs.

They make be a cheeezzzy mod, but dam they look good :)......I decided not to fool with the HID for my DTL or highbeams, I'll replace the bulb with the Vizu white light bulb. I'm going with the WP DDE, from what reviews and experiences of people on various forums, it's an easy install if done right :), and there is the catch phrase ''if done right" :)
