The "stick only" comments sound just like me....30 years ago[:o)]

The last two sports cars we owned were sticks. This new 330CI had my wife saying she's tired of the stick when she's too tired to deal with the shifting at the end of a loooong work day and I don't blame her...so hence the SLIPTRONIC[fake]

I think that with the technology today having an auto may add time to a sprint to sixty but overall the trans. is far more advanced than days of yore. SMG transmissions are used in F1 racing, so as far as their “sportiness” I think they qualify (no pun intended). Whether it’s auto or manny I think it depends on preference and use. To me the main qualification for a true sports car is REAR WHEEL DRIVE. Some might disagree, but I think she likes having the power in the rear. Besides even a three-cylinder Metro(nice job Section_8) can spin the fronts, but it takes power to make her scream when pushing from the back. [thumb]

You're killing me here Ghost............I'm sitting in a hotel room in Jackson, MS, its 65 degrees, sunshining, rent car is a Grand Am (pulease).......and I'm sitting here trying to prepare for a presentation tomorrow...........[shake]
