wow, i never realized was wore off so quickly. it has been atleast 4 months since i last waxed...i think i will do that asap. What about polish? does anyone polish immediately after washing and prior to waxing?

That sucks. I hate the damn birds for doing that. I used to carry wet wipes for those ocasions but as the winter came, they started to freeze, I got a small spray bottle that I keep full with windshield washer fluid and have a box of tissues always in the trunk. I see a bird drip, clean it right up. BTW today I looked how that spot on my dad's car looks and it's still there and I think looks exactly the same. I guess the fuel just shined that part of the trunk and you couldn't see the dropping, oh well.

I hope your not sparying washer fluid on your paint

not to get side tract but is it bad to have washer fluid on the paint? I'm just thinking because i have the cold weather package with the light washers and it seems to over spray a bit on the front of the car when they do...

I f'n hate birds.... This weekend we had about 300 birds just moving from tree to tree in our neighborhood and splatting all over my car as they moved.... I has to go out about 3 times to clean it off. I wound up moving the car to a safer place.
