I don't mean to offend anyone, but I'm just curious to the age old question,
do nice cars attract more girls? When you first got your bimmers let say (assuming
it is the better car), did you notice if you attracted more girls? This seems like a very
high schoolish thing to ask, but I just want to take a survey on whether this theory
is true. My friends and I were drunk and had this long stupid inebrieted discussion
about cars attracting girls...or that cars bring out the confidence in guys that attracts
the girls...*sigh*...[confused] [8]

The car does attract more attention............female to male or male to female.......but there has to be something more...........what are you going to do, ride around for the duration of your relationship??[rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

IMO most females look at how a car is kept up not the type of car............if its dirty, got trash everywhere, you know you're not going to be kept much better.........[:o]

Dinan55, that is a great article, I really enjoyed it.

As for the cars = girls question, I agree with this. If you ask most girls what kind of girl they like, they will easily say, "I love BMW's". They usually specifically say BMW, particularly the 3-series coupes (in my experience).

Personally, I like to look at the front passenger seat of a 3-series...usually there is a good-looking girl sitting there (guy owner sitting in the driver's seat).

I completely disagree with this article! I am 30ish, older than a number of you I am sure. What I have noticed is those relationships that were based upon things like cars are long over with by now, they are just part of a 50% statistic now.

I went to a small college of no more than 1,000 students, many of whom had always enjoyed the finest things life had to offer. What I noticed is a segment of the students that I would say were preoccupied with material things like the car a person drove over other more important considerations have had the least success in long-term relationships. Today I cannot imagine how much some of these people have spent on divorce attorneys. It is amazing to see how many have fallen apart.

I have noticed that those that are successful today seemed to have a much stronger basis of attraction. And in these situations the car did not play a role, hell some of them did not even have a car.

My thinking is stay away from anyone that has any part of a foundation of attraction based on a car. Like My Harley said, there are more important factors like how clean the car is. A person (M or F) that takes great pride in what they have may have some nice qualities.

cars = girls?
Be careful, I had a load of em in Sept, not enough seat belts in the car for everyone. In fact there are so many girls, they are camped out in my back yard, house is already full.

[joke]

Any girl falling for a nice car, rather than a nice guy, needs their head examined IMO. [8]
