The car is beautiful all around. The rims are the 18". They tried to scare me into buying $400 dollar insurance for the rims and tires! At first I thought they were ripping me off, but then I realized that each rim & tire combo would cost over $800. [eek] Hmm....should I have gotten it? [screwy]

It doesn't drive as good as it should quite yet, given that it in the breaking in stage, but I'm sure after a few thousand miles I'll be in driving heaven. The Navi is pretty sweet. All around it's worth it.

Why would you need insurance on the rims and tires? Don't you have comprehensive insurance on the car? That would cover the cost of replacements if someone stole the rims and tires or if you damaged them somehow.

Glad you like the car - wish I had the money to buy one!

Are you trying to say that the warranty does not cover the rims and wheels samlee444???

hosagod...ooooh I tried looking EVERYWHERE for the black interior. Couldn't find any with Navi it in....you must have taken the last one you little bastard!! j/k [hihi]

To answer your questions....yes...warranty covers the rims & tires only if its a manufacturer's defect. The insurance covers it for everything else except normal wear & tear i.e. if it gets stolen or if you scrape it up against the curb.[ohcrap]

Insurance would cover it of course, but the already high premiums on that car would go even higher.

" N I C E ... U must be Gellin' "

[thumb] & [welcome]

Great combo. The wheels really compliment the Silver...

I called my dealer this aft. and he told me BMW was giving a 'manufact. rebate'

of $3300 on all in-stock '03, 330i's...

If I want an '04 built it would take approx. 10 weeks until delivery. [bigcry]

Looks like I might pick-up that Silver Gray Metallic '03, 330i PP they still have on their

lot. [driving2]

hehe, I don't have Nav so you wouldn't have been interested in my black interior :p

Paddy, all the dealers around Houston have a considerable amount of in-stock 2004s. Is this not the case elsewhere? I would always go with the latest year model, for some reason I would feel "outdated" even with a brand new 2003. :)
