yup, or at least keep the rev limier set to like 3k or 4 k
big bumkin deal about keeping the valet key in the glove box.
if someone broke into yer car w/ intention of stealing, the would not having the lil plastic key make the difference?
or does someone go, hmm, i'm gonna break into this car, and if i find the valet key in the box, i'll steal the car then?? maybe i'm over rating the car theives..

I watched this program on car thiefes and they asked one a few questions and he said that they look for a car that is easy to steal (he said BMWs are not easy to steal) and requires as little time as possible, cars without alarms are prefered but it doesn't really matter if the thief really wants the car. He also mentioned that for his car, he uses that anti theft device that goes over your clutch or brake depending on what tranny you have. The Club does almost nothing and is useless. The main idea of protecting the car is to make it undesirable to thiefs, that way they don't break your window or anything like that. And if a thief really wants your car, he/she will have it no matter what.
