E-Bay Motors - Good Idea or Bad??

Hmmm, maybe eBay has changed since then, but I remember in September I put my Jetta on eBay (without a reserve). At the end of the auction, eBay charged around $300 - $400 after the listing fee. This charge was like 3% of what my car sold for. I guess they've changed things since then[???1]

Maybe that was the case then, but that would suck! Ebay charges a percentage on most of things except cars and real estate, I think. Maybe it used to do this on cars. I'm glad they don't now. Now, the fees are fixed. Paying $300 for selling a car would be unbearable. I guess it was a change for good![:D]

Yeah, hopefully they did change it this way. Because with eBay, usually people don't sell their car for very high, and it's just annoying to take a several-hundred-dollar hit just for selling the car.
