Oh man, that looks sweet! That red is absolutely gorgeous! Congrats, and have fun driving it. I just have one question? What is that beautiful new BMW doing on that dirty road!? [:D]

Thanks Guys!

Yes, it was definitely worth the wait. I enjoy just being in the car! Even in traffic.

The steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantera. So comfortable it is!!! Shifts great with the 6 speed, very comfortable seats, and it handles the road very smoothly.

My neighborhood is relatively new so there is still tons of construction going on around my house. [:(]

A while back I had a hard time deciding if I should go Black or Imola Red. Originally I ordered jet black with black interior trim. Later I decided on the red with silver interior trim. The silver looks really nice as it breaks up the colors some inside.

And the imola red impressed me more in person than in the pictures. Everyone around here has commented on the color.

I did get the wheel protection since BMW just started offering it and it was only $400 bucks for 5 years coverage on the tires and rims. I figured that with all the construction and pot holes around it might be a good idea.

Anyhow, thanks for all the compliments. It is a very sweet car. My first Bimmer and it hasn't failed in impressing me.

Could you explain the "wheel protection" BMW offers? I have the 18" Style 71 wheels with Michelin ZR tires. My dealer made no reference to such a thing. Thanks.
